Hands-on-Adjustments Practicum
Date: February 22, 2025
Location: In-person in Boulder, CO at Rembrandt Yard
When: 9am to noon
Come learn and grow your yoga teaching skills in a community of yoga teachers.
What to Expect
Feeling a little out of practice with hands-on adjustments post-pandemic? You’re not alone! Many of us got rusty or skipped this skill during training all together and now students are so craving hands on touch again. That’s why we’re hosting this workshop: to help you brush up, learn new skills and feel confident in your hands-on adjustments in classes. Added bonus, it is a great way to connect with other local yoga teachers! Tea will be served.
The workshop will include:
Exploring the different types of adjustments, Empowering Adjustments, Therapeutic Adjustments and Anatomical Adjustments.
Guidance on when and how to adjust students during class.
Trauma-informed principles to ensure your adjustments are safe and respectful.
Learning a series of new adjustments and techniques.
Ample practice time to build confidence in applying these adjustments in your teaching.
Added bonus: A great way to connect with other local yoga teachers!
The Location:
This is held in the spacious, mountain lit art gallery at Rembrandt Yard. For this workshop we will be surrounded by an all new art exhibit featuring artists Heidi Love Larraz, Richelle Cripe, Cindi Yaklich, and Casey Hebb.
Prerequisite:
Completion of a 200-hour Teacher Training for foundational knowledge.

Yoga Sequencing for the Nervous System
Date: March 8th, 2025
Time: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM MT
Location: Online (via Zoom)
What to Expect
Join us for this two-hour online workshop, where we’ll dive into how to craft yoga sequences that intentionally facilitate your students’ nervous systems through sequencing. Discover the nuances of how to energize the nervous system when it is useful and the intricacies of how to calm the nervous system when needed. With these elevated skills, you will be able to create a full journey for your students, opening them up to the possibility of having profound experiences in your class.
Together, we’ll explore:
The relationship between yoga sequencing and the nervous system.
How to intentionally guide students through a full journey—energizing, calming, and grounding.
Strategies to accommodate trauma and ensure all students leave feeling better than when they arrived.
Creating the possibility of transformative experiences for students through sequencing.
By the end of this workshop, you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of how to design classes that offer profound and engrossing experiences, allowing you to take care of your students’ nervous systems in a thoughtful and impactful way.

Completion of a 200-hour Teacher Training is recommended but not required.
